G-Land was so fun again today! The sun was out the offshore was good and the waves were pumping. We were getting long ones all the way through from the ledge to the end of speedies and plenty of faces around 10 ft tall.
On the downside G-Land had some really bad jelly fish. Worst I have seen it. A few of us including myself had to go in because we were covered in welts. They were nasty little suckers.
Throughout the whole day G-Land was pumping and at the end everyone was chingin their bintangs and talking about the great rides they had. The vibe is unreal here, everybody is stoked.

G-Land was super fun today. The swell direction was really nice and lining up well. The barrels were nice and hollow. Especially through the fang area of money trees! I actually got the best barrel of my trip today. It was a nice long one and was very wide open.
All four camps in G-Land have had alot leave and we are back down to thin numbers so everyone is getting plenty of waves. The last few weeks have been really good however it has been rather crowded.
Narchi left G-land today and I will be gone in the next week or so. Jarred will be back to take over soon.

G-Land going strong and alive for one week straight now. Swell came down in size a bit, but still breaking strong in the 8 – 10 foot face range. Money Trees was lining up real nice and staying hollow…many long makeable tubes today. Peak high tide of 2.1 meters still set-up Launching Pad into Speedies, but not many letting you in and then out.
The ocean surface conditions and winds have been surprising for the past week or so. That early “morning sickness” typical of G-Land has not been happening at all. Opposite to it, the mornings have been real quality. Anyone getting out for the dawn session has been rewarded with quality, uncrowded waves. But sleeping in here is one of the beautiful parts of waiting for the 10 o’clock offshores arrival. And that’s another form of reward!!!
I’m truly thankful for the crew that’s been around for this window of surf. A lot of really competent surfers and everyone showing a noticeable amount of respect for the other people in the water. It makes such difference!!!
Thanks for reading. I’m on my way out for now, but Brett is still around.

G-Land has been amazing for the past 6 days. Swell has been solid since the 11th and still real nice today. It backed off from yesterday’s size, getting up to 12 foot faces on the solid ones, but mostly breaking at about 8 foot. Wind was good for most of the day, just swinging around from the S, E, and N for about an hour around noon. Other than that…nice offshores.
It’s been pretty much the same…Money Trees working all day long and Launching Pad into Speedies when the tide was right. We even had some sets focus into the Ledge on the low tide this evening and it was nice to see.
Money’s had some real nice waves today. Lip lines peeling off sectionless and staying plenty hollow. Speedies was piping, but seemed to be breaking into shallower reef than you’d expect with a big 2.4 meter tide.
I’ve been feeling real thankful this past week, more than normal and it seems like there’ll be more swell coming in the near future.
KEEP ENJOYING…

G-Land was in essence a replay of yesterday. Launching Pad into Speedies was on. Real clean and very hollow. Money Trees was lining up all day long and not many people surfing it. Everyone wants Speedies!!!

G-Land today = HIGH QUALITY
High quality means surf was 14-18 foot faces at Launching Pad, linking into Speedies and piping down the reef, backless. Minus the bit of N wind that blew for about an hour, it was … well … high quality.
Money Trees was left alone for the most part and it was on as well. But everyone in the water was hoping to get one of those specialities down reef.
I’ll try and post a photo tomorrow to back up my short story…. John is real busy right now!
ENJOY…

G-Land continued to give us all real nice waves through the entire day. Early morning conditions were nice…offshore, clean, and lined up. Strangely surprising how many early mornings have started out clean. Money Trees was really refined and running down the reef for a few hundred yards, staying hollow and fast. Surf was about 8-10 foot faces with those random rogue sets getting up to 12 foot.
Launching Pad was real distinct, even setting up some barrels off the peak where the past 2 days didn’t come close to throwing out at all. Speedies was a different character entirely. Real fast and most of them wouldn’t let people out….coming in real straight on the reef. But still some really beautiful and make-able waves spinning down the line.
And like yesterday, once the tide dropped too low for Speedies, Money Trees was the section to be on. Really though…Money’s was good all day. Fan Palms was lining up too. Great day to be out here.

G-LAND WAS ON!!!
Swell still coming through with real power and after yesterdays sudden arrival, it had enough time to clean up better and line up from Launching Pad into Speedies. High tide at 10:00 with plenty of water and much better wind conditions.
Early morning was calm wind and glassy. Some really beautiful waves coming through. A North wind came up and blew for about an hour-n’a-half and then the offshore slowly gained its strength from about 11:00 onward, grooming up the surface real nice. The swell had some true power today, more refined compared with yesterday, and thundered down Speedies on the larger waves. BIG TUBES.
As the tide dropped below safe Speedies level, Money Trees was setting up real nice for the rest of the day. Big walls holding up well and running down the reef for hundreds of yards. Low tide Money’s had double-ups and some stayed hollow and powerful.
ahhh…yes. surf was 14-18 foot faces at Launching Pads and Money Trees. Speedies maxed out at about 12 foot on the face. 8-10 foot Hawaiian scale.
i’m beat…thoroughly spent…and looking forward to sleeping.
