G-Land was a mixed bag today, north wind picked up a little strong early and there was still alot of cloud around but by 11:00am it was a light offshore and the sun had come out.
The sets were a little inconsistent but when they came there were some good quality waves coming through with long rides. If you sat your ground and remained patient there were great rewards.
The wind dropped and it was looking awesome until 3:30 when a big black cloud came over and rained on us for a few minutes. Half an hour later it was onshore and then it just got worse and worse. Managed to get a few good size bombs at the ledge before it got too bad. All the camps are still very empty including ours with only 20 people. There is a new energy in the air with bigger waves forecasted for tomorrow.
