G-Land is not giving me too many +++ to write about as far as the surf goes. New swell did come in, but the wind was horrible the entire day. It would have been nice to adventure to the eastern side of the peninsula to check out the reef passes and hopefully that happens tomorrow.
The surf was about 6-10 foot faces and it was a good swell direction for Speedies and then Money Trees on the lower tide. But like I already wrote, the wind was horrible. Not many people paddled out today and those that went for it didn't appear to have an improved emotional state after the session.
We got a new addition to the camp's staff list. Brett McPherson from Newcastle, NSW, came in today and will be working as the camp host/surf guide. So you'll be reading his reports or seeing his face in the near future.
Keep Enjoying....MICHAEL
