June 21st Sunday

G-Land Bobby's Surf Camp had a fairly big changeover today with 17 leaving and 33 arriving. In the surf department there wasn't such a big change. Basically from first light all the way till dark the surf pumped!! Sets in the 4-6ft range, offshore wind all day long, and barrels galore! One guest came in after his morning Speedies session claiming he had the best barrel of his life, and he didn't even make it out, thats how good it was. The barrel here can be a life changing experience such is the potential of a good wave in the G-Land Surf.

G-Land wasn't even crowded today, a medium size crew were on it through the morning, and then very small numbers in the water through the afternoon. Yet there were some absolute sick barrels! One wave I caught on the low tide I must have got a 5 second stand up barrel through Money Trees, it blew my mind! Today I was riding my 6'7 New Wave Keahana board as a quad fin setup, such a sick board, my shaper Jason Primrose from New Zealand has got my G-Land boards tuned right in.

There were a few new couples that arrived today, and a whole family too. One of the couples was here on their 2nd wedding anniversary, and they got the special cake, song and arak/juice combo, plus their friends happened to be having their 1 year anniversary as well. Very stoked couples on the surprise staff special treatment for them!
