June 20th Saturday

G-Land had eased back in the morning to 3-5ft, glassy-come-offshore conditions. After so many days of good waves the crowd was pretty minimal. I decided to just relax, and hope the internet forecast of an afternoon bump was to come true.

After Pizza & Ice Cream and a Chocolate Banana Protein Shake I waltzed down to the beach to see a sick barreling low tide Money Trees set go unridden! So I sorted myself out very fast and was out the back by 2pm. The forecast swell certainly came through on the incoming afternoon tide, and G-Land Surf ended up being a pumping 5-6ft with occassional bigger set right through till dark! The crowd wasn't too bad, and there were some smoking waves to be had 🙂

G-Land Bobby's Surf Camp guest Paul finishes his trip today, he has travelled all throughout Indonesia in his younger days and surfed all round the world. Yet this week he has had in G-Land has been the best waves and surf trip he has had. He also caught the best barrel of his life out here, and everyone who seen it reckoned it was an all-time tube! So he is very happy with his G-Land experience! Not to mention a few other guests who have also had the time of their lives this past week.
