G-Land backed way off and it was a perfect day to do something else other than surf.  The weather was nice and cool with the light cloud cover and it really didn't rain except for a light drizzle right at sunset.  Surf was about shoulder to head high and fairly weak "looking!"  There were a few waves running down the line at Speedies and Kongs had some 2-3 wave sets, but most everyone stayed on land today.

A few guys went out early for a troll up around the point (the coal barge is still on the reef) and came back with 3 nice tengirri's...which were delicious at dinner, sashimi style and grilled.  Yoga down at Joyo's has been a nice option to loosen up the body and Dana is doing a great job accomodating us at keeping things simple.  A group of new guests set up a slack line right in front and that's been fun to try and walk across.  Great for balance and trying to stay focused.  I started up on some backed up ding repair.  Walks up the point, pool, pong, chess, naps, music ....whatever else one can come up with to pass the time.

Just as a reminder from my last post on April   2010, Quiksilver will be holding an event here called the Rising Up of G-Land (not a contest) during 6th through the 13th of June.  Bobby's camp, along with the other camps will be closed for normal, guest operations.  So hopefully this isn't an conflict with your plans or hopes to be here.
